I entered the art world as an amateur painter in 2019. Having played with different subjects, styles and mediums I found my passion in still lifes and portraits. 

Still life painting allows me to slow down, to capture details and subtleties. Through this process I grasp the subject and its true essence, building a balance of colours, light and perspective.

To me portrait work symbolises an exploration of feelings and mood. By employing contrasting colours and rough brush strokes, I strive to give the viewer a raw experience of the subject’s inner struggles.
